is the ancient, traditional system of Indian medicine. This
system was developed centuries ago and can be traced back
to the sages of yore. Ayurveda has different therapies for
the ailing as well as for preserving the vigour and well
being of the healthy. Kerala has several renowned centers
where Ayurveda is practised.
Kerala is the only place where Ayurveda is widely practised,
due to the plentiful supply of the specialised herbs required,
that are virtually unique to Kerala. These 'Vaidyasalas'
