Fort Cochin is a reminder of a golden era in trade and culture.
Medieval churches, magnificent ruins and Chinese fishing
nets dot this ancient town. Cochin's famous Antiques and
Spices market are also located here. |

THE BRUNTON BOAT YARD Located near the Fort
Cochin boat jetty commands fantastic views of the Arabian sea.
This is a period hotel built to the Dutch and Portuguese architectural
principles of early 16th and 17th century. All the rooms overlook
the confluence of the backwaters with the Arabian sea and are
furnished with beautiful period furniture. There is a good swimming
pool and seafood restaurant on location.
THE MALABAR HOUSE RESIDENCY A 300yr old Heritage
home which has been beautifully remodelled into a small luxury
hotel. Facing the Parade Ground and across to the St. Francis
Portuguese Church, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Chinese
fishing nets on the beach. Centrally air-conditioned, all twelve
rooms have been furnished with select antique furniture and have
