Duration : 12 Nights / 13 Days

Routing : Cochin - Alleppy - Thekkady -Cochin.

Day 1 :
Arrival in Cochin, Check-in into a hotel. Local sight seeing in and around Fort Cochin.

Day 2 :
After breakfast transfer by road to Alleppey. Check-in into a resort set on the banks of the backwaters. The accommodation is in reassembled traditional wooden Kerala houses and there is an excellent restaurant on location. Rest of the day at leisure. Evening go for a three hours sunset cruise on the Houseboat. Overnight at the resort.

Day 3 :
Check-out after breakfast and transfer to Alleppey town by a country boat. Pick-up at Boat jetty and transfer by road to Sree Sankara Gardens in Thekkady. Enroute stopover at a Heritage Estate bungalow for a traditional Syrian Chrisitian Lunch. Relax awhile on the estate. Continue on to Thekkady and check-in into Sree Sankara Gardens for your Ayurvedic holiday.

1 Week at Sree Sankara Gardens, an Ayurvedic resort set in peaceful, pastoral surroundings near the Periyar Wildlife sanctuary.

Return trip:

Day 1 :
After an early breakfast, check-out of resort and transfer by taxi to Cochin. Check-in into a hotel in the city by lunch time. Rest of the day at leisure.

Option :
Evening attend a Kathakali dance performance (2 hrs).

Day 2 :
At leisure in Cochin - take a day trip to any of the following.

Option 1 :
To Athirappilly / Vazhachal a beautiful waterfall located about 64km (2 hrs) away from Cochin. Picnic lunch. Freshen up at a nearby resort and return to Cochin by evening.

Option 2 :
Take a boat trip to a nearby village where you can relax and revel in the rural ambience. Visit the local coir making and handloom weaving centres. Lunch is hosted at a local house in the village. Return to Cochin by evening.

Day 3 :
Check-out of hotel and transfer to Cochin Airport. Departure from Kerala.

Meal Plan :
Full board at resorts in Alleppey / Thekkady. Room only at Cochin with option for full board.
